Are you curious about the benefits of a plant-based diet?

Would you be willing to take part in a real-world research study? Research you can do from the comfort of your own home!

London South Bank University are looking for healthy volunteers to join a study looking into the health benefits of a plant-based diet.

They are looking for people who are:

  • Healthy, with no pre-existing conditions or medication
  • Age between 18 and 55 years old
  • Living in the UK
  • The study is open to men and women, but they already have a lot of women volunteers and are especially looking for men!
  • Regularly eating meat, eggs, dairy and/or fish

If you are interested, please contact bestera@lsbu.ac.uk for more information and to apply.

You will then be sent a more detailed questionnaire to see if you qualify.  If you do and are accepted onto the study, you will be randomised into either the intervention group (who will be sent plant-based food for the duration of the 4 week study) or the control group.

Recruitment is open for the next few weeks and the trial will start in January.  It could be a fascinating way to start the year!

If you have any questions feel free to drop me a line or contact Bestera direct for more information.

In health and happiness

Ange

The trial has received approval from London South Bank University School of Applied Science Ethics Committee No ETH2021-0025.
